New Beginnings

Updated: Mar 3, 2019

Hey everybody!

I am creating something that I have never done before and I honestly feel weird doing it. I am creating this blog to improve my daily life, and to have something to refer on when I get older. Have you tried a new food and you don't really know if you like it at first but it grows on you over time? That is exactly how this is going to work. I honestly feel weird typing up, why I am even creating a blog in the first place, but I am looking for change in my life and this is one of the first of many steps that I am taking in order to do so! I've been contemplating over the past 2 months of why I am waking up everyday and doing the same thing OVER and OVER and OVER again. Yet....I am sitting in the same spot, nothing is changing (just getting older). I am willing to make a change and just have to accept the fact of it feeling....weird.

A LITTLE ABOUT MY PERSONAL LIFE :

I grew up in Bath, North Carolina and have a Mom, Dad, and 2 Sisters. Also we have 5 cats, 3 dogs, 2 horses, and 2 sisters ;). We love all types of animals!! If there is anything that I would die for, it would be my family. At the end of the day your family is what holds everything together (friends, and even animals count too). Don't get me wrong we've had plenty ups and downs as a family. No matter what you have in life you NEED to have someone close you can talk to! Enough about the family sob story.

Over the past 4 years I became a Wakeboard Coach and if anything has changed my life drastically recently, it would be this. I would like to think of myself as an inspirational coach, but on the water. There is nothing like teaching a new skill to somebody, and for them to absolutely LOVE it. None of this would have been possible if it wasn't for Kara Austin. She is the one who taught me what wakeboarding was all about and she truly is a role model in my life.

I have also been a business owner for 1 whole year (Wake2Wake Watersports) and I absolutely love it but, it is also a lot to put on one plate, especially for a 22 year old. I already know that I have no clue how to run a multi-million dollar business but that's what learning is all about. I also even felt weird starting up something up like this, but I know it's the right thing.

If you're doing something new in your life and it seems WEIRD you're probably doing something right. You are never going to change just justing around waiting to it to happen.
